Man leads authorities two-state police chase

VINTON- A North Carolina man was arrested for leading police on a pursuit from Louisiana into Texas.The incident began Sunday morning with Louisiana State Police receiving reports of an unsafe driver speeding and passing vehicles on the shoulder in Calcasieu Parish. Shortly after 9 a.m., troopers located the vehicle, a 2004 Acura TL driven by 22-year-old Diego Alonzo Gomez, on I-10 westbound near Vinton.
