Man killed on LA 437 after crashing into ditch

CONVINGTON- A single-vehicle crash on LA 437 took the life of 38-year-old Mohssen Hajighassem Jr. of Westwego on Monday night.The crash occurred on Monday at 11 p.m. when Louisiana State Police Troopers from Troop L learned that Hajighassem was driving a Lexus northbound on LA 437.According to state police, Hajighassem’s car crossed into the southbound lane and traveled off the left side of the roadway.Hajighassem over-corrected to the right, causing his car to re-enter the roadway and
