Man dead after domestic disturbance ends in shooting

GONZALES – Deputies say one man was killed Friday after a neighbor responded to a domestic disturbance in Gonzales.According to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened around 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19 on Fox Run Drive in Gonzales.Deputies say they arrived at the scene and found a neighbor standing in a front yard holding a handgun.
