Man allegedly batters ex-girlfriend, attempts to put her in trunk

BATON ROUGE - A Baton Rouge man was arrested after he allegedly battered his ex-girlfriend and attempted to put her in the trunk of his vehicle.According to arrest records, officers with the Baton Rouge Police Department responded to Mohican Street on March 19 in reference to an assault.The responding officer observed the victim's shirt was torn around the neck area while speaking with her, according to arrest records.On March 24, the officer conducted a follow-up investigation with the victim,
