Man accused of stealing boat from firefighters

MANCHAC - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office arrested a man they say stole a boat belonging to the Manchac Fire Department.58-year-old Douglas "Chip" Davis of Hammond is charged with felony theft, since the estimated value of the boat was more than $18,000, our news partner Action News 17 reports.The Manchac Fire Department reported the 21-foot Reno Skiff stolen on April 7th.
