Majority of Entergy customers have power back

BATON ROUGE - Entergy reports that power has been restored to all of its customers that crews can safely reach at this time.Some homes remain underwater in the St. Amant, Sorrento and False River areas. Entergy says it may take some time to return power to the around 2,000 customers whose flood damage was so severe they cannot yet be reconnected.
