Grass fire, wreck slow traffic Monday

BATON ROUGE - A grass fire and some vehicle crashes slowed the lunchtime commute through the city Monday.First, I-110 Southbound was closed following a crash just before lunch.  Traffic quickly started backing up toward downtown exits.  The wreck was outside the view of traffic cameras, but cameras showed a significant slowdown headed toward I-10.The closure came amid slowdowns on I-10 through the downtown area.After 2 p.m., fire crews had to put out a fire on the side of the i
