FEMA grants Insurance Commissioner's request to extend flood loss deadline

WASHINGTON, D.C.- FEMA granted Insurance Commissioner Jim Donelon's request to extend a proof of loss deadline from September 1, 2017 until December 31, 2017. The extension affects residents who had flood insurance, but may not have received an amount that covered all of their repairs by their adjuster.
