Exxon Mobil shuts down Louisiana refinery due to flooding

Exxon Mobil began shutting down its units in Baton Rouge due to the recent flooding in the area.The Baton Rouge refinery shut down its units as the flooding threatened an offsite liquefied petroleum gas storage facility, a person close to the refinery operations told Bloomberg.
The plant, located along the Mississippi River, can process 502, 500 barrels of crude a day into gas, diesel and other fuels.
Louisiana is home to 18 operating refineries that account for about 18 percent of U.S. capacity
