Ex-boyfriend charged with first degree rape, aggravated burglary

BATON ROUGE - A man was arrested for first degree rape and aggravated burglary after he forced his way into his ex-girlfriend's apartment and sexually assaulted her.Officials reported on Aug. 4, around 8 a.m., the victim was at her apartment on Monet Dr. with a male friend when she answered a knock at the door. After she cracked the door to see who was there, the assailant, Rodell Patterson, 44, shoved the door open, pushing the victim down in the process.Patterson then grabbed the victim by the
