Entergy power cut delayed as water level holds near substation

BATON ROUGE - Entergy crews say a possible power cut to around 4,500 homes in southeast Baton Rouge may not be necessary as the level of flood water has slowed.If equipment in the substation floods while it is active, a much larger area would lose power and it would likely take longer to restore, said company spokesman Greg Guilbeau.
