EBR students to return on Wednesday; some schools relocate

BATON ROUGE – East Baton Rouge Parish superintendent and school officials gave an update on the status of multiple schools in the area on Thursday afternoon following the recent flooding.Superintendent Warren Drake announced that East Baton Rouge parish students were to report to school on Wednesday, Aug. 24 and teachers were to return to work on Monday, Aug. 22. PreK and kindergarten students are to return on Monday, Aug. 29.Drake said that currently one third of the East Baton Rouge
