Denham Springs PD selects interim chief

DENHAM SPRINGS - The City of Denham Springs has selected an interim replacement for former Chief Scott Jones who was fired last month.Captain J. Shannon Womack will take over the position. The Denham Springs Police Department website lists Womack as Uniform Patrol Commander. He is also responsible for the Traffic Division, reserve program, Information Technology (IT), and crossing guards.
