Classes to move after flooding damages Baker High School

BAKER –School officials said Baker High School may be closed for the first semester after the school was flooded earlier this week.A spokesperson for Baker Schools, Ed Pratt, said the City of Baker schools will reopen Monday, but Baker High School will remain closed.Superintendent Herman Brister said the school took on several inches of water during the historic flooding across south Louisiana this weekend.Brister said Baker High Students will be shifted to Baker Middle School.
