Christmas tree recycling program begins this week for EBR and Ascension

BATON ROUGE- This year's Christmas tree curbside recycling program begins Jan. 8.The Department of Environmental Services has announced that the recycling of Christmas trees will run from Jan. 8 through Jan. 21 for all East Baton Rouge Parish residents, with the exception of Baker and Zachary.In order to be collected, trees must be placed curbside a minimum of three feet from other garbage and unbundled trash.
