CATS bus that crashed into home was in violation of state law

BATON ROUGE - A maintenance history for the CATS bus that was involved in a crash last week involving a house reveals a slew of issues.The maintenance report dates from Mar. 15 to Apr. 11 for the bus, Bus 130. Issues that were continously reported include the the check engine light on, a broken wheel chair lift, one bike restraint missing, the right side view mirror missing and a cracked windshield.The report also indicated the bus spent 12 days on the road without a working horn.
