BRCC delays start of semester, extends fall registration

BATON ROUGE - Baton Rouge Community College says it will delay the start of the fall semester until Aug. 29 after widespread flooding ravaged the surrounding community.BRCC says it will remain closed for the rest of the week.School officials say the continued closure will provide the college with an opportunity to assess the institution’s facilities and grounds.
