Bar owner files, drops lawsuit against Governor, Sheriff over EBR curfew

BATON ROUGE –A Baton Rouge bar owner filed and then dropped a lawsuit Friday against Governor John Bel Edwards and East Baton Rouge Sheriff Sid Gautreaux for imposing a curfew for residents following this week's severe weather and historic flooding.Brian Ott, the owner of Uncle Earl's, says Edwards and Gautreaux violated federal civil rights by ordering the 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew beginning Aug. 16 for East Baton Rouge residents. The circumstances under whic
