Authorities responding to reported fire at Perkins Rowe

BATON ROUGE- St. George Fire Department is responding to a reported fire at the Perkins Rowe complex Friday afternoon.Witnesses say it appears to be a fire above the restaurant Texas de Brazil in the complex.According to a fire department spokesperson, the fire has been contained to the kitchen area of a restaurant. Smoke is traveling through the building's ducts.Residents in the apartments above the restaurant have been evacuated. News 2 is on the way to the scene. This story
