Authorities investigating 'loud boom noise' off Elliot Road

BATON ROUGE - Deputies are currently investigating a loud boom noise that residents say happened near Hoo Shoo Too Road Saturday afternoon.Multiple residents reported hearing a “loud boom noise” that shook their homes around 6:40 p.m. A spokesperson for Louisiana State Police said that the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating.A spokesperson for EBRSO said that deputies have not yet determined the source of the noise. Casey Hicks said it
