Aug. flooding causes longer days for East Feliciana students

CLINTON - Students in East Feliciana Parish will give up two holidays this semester and go to school an extra 15 minutes each day to make up for time lost because of the flooding in August.Superintendent Carlos Sam said the floods washed out seven days of the original school calendar.Instead of taking off Oct. 14 for a teacher professional day, students will attend classes.
