Assumption Parish interim sheriff to resign, makes way for sheriff elect

NAPOLEONVILLE- Assumption Interim Sheriff Bruce Prejean announced his upcoming resignation on Tuesday to make way for the new elected Sheriff, Leland Falcon.Prejean made the announcement of his resignation through a post on the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office Facebook page on Tuesday. He says that his resignation will go into effect on Monday, May 9 at midnight.Prejean took the position of Interim Sheriff when former Sheriff Mike Waguespack resigned in February after he lost his re-
