Ascension to stop debris removal on Oct. 31

ASCENSION PARISH – Ascension Parish Debris Removal will stop its operations in the parish on Oct. 31.Residents who have any debris remaining on their property or in their homes are asked to push the separated debris to the right-of-way in order for it to be picked up before the Oct. 31 end date.Officials say that nearly 300,000 cubic yards of debris have been removed in the parish since operations started on Aug. 23.
