Ascension school sheltering in place due to strange smell

DONALDSONVILLE – Deputies in Ascension Parish say an “intrusive smell” has caused a Donaldsonville school to shelter in place Friday morning.According to Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, investigators are looking into the source of the odor around Donaldsonville Primary School.The Ascension Parish Schools central office and Ascension Head Start is also sheltering in place as a precaution.Deputies say there appears to be no immediate threat to anyone in t
