APSO searching for 'armed and dangerous' burglary suspect

ASCENSION – The Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for a burglary suspect near the Dutchtown Lane and Highway 74 area.The suspect is a white man wearing a white shirt and khaki pants, possibly carrying a red bag. The man is considered armed and dangerous.The sheriff's office says that residents should not approach or confront the man.Residents are urged to call 911 immediately if they see this person or to call the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office at 225-621-8300 (option 1).
