APSO investigating a double-murder suicide in Prairieville

ASCENSION – Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a double-murder suicide that occurred on Sunday around 1 p.m.
Deputies responded to a home on Oak Trace Road in Prairieville in reference to a neighbor hearing a gunshot that came from inside the home.37-year-old Shawn Millet, is believed to have killed 31-year-old Lacey Leblanc of Walker and her 8-year-old daughter inside the home and then shot himself.
Millet was transported to a local hospital where he later died from hi
