Vaping-Related Lung Injuries Surpass 2,500 Cases Nationwide, CDC Says
BALTIMORE (WJZ/CNN) — The number of vaping-related lung injury cases has topped 2,500 nationwide.
As of December 17, there were 2,506 hospitalized cases of lung injury linked to vaping in the United States, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Thursday.
As of December 10, Maryland’s state health department has reported 47 hospitalizations and ten additional cases of vaping-related lung injuries.
