Subtropical Storm Alberto Makes Landfall In Florida On Northern Gulf Coast

BALTIMORE (CNN) — [Breaking news update at 4:55 p.m. ET]
Subtropical Storm Alberto is making landfall near Laguna Beach, Florida, according to the National Hurricane Center. Maximum winds are sustained at 45 mph. Alberto will continue to bring a flood threat to the Southeast United States as it spreads moisture across the region into the middle of the week.
