Styrofoam Ban Now In Effect Across Anne Arundel County

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (WJZ) — The styrofoam ban for foodservice businesses went into effect Friday in Anne Arundel County.
The ban includes single-use containers like cups, plates, and trays.
The ban in Annapolis has been in effect since September and a statewide ban begins July first.
Businesses who violate the ban could be fined anywhere from $50 to $500 dollars.
