Rescuers Searching For Missing National Guardsman In Ellicott City

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ/AP) — One person is missing after flash flooding that tore down historic Main Street, and he has not been seen since the height of the raging, brown waters have left a community heartbroken at seeing severe damage less than two years after another devastating flood.
Eddison Hermond, 39, of Severn was reported missing around 12:30 a.m. Monday. Friends told officials he was trying to help people when he was swept away by waters.
