Reports: Tom Petty Taken Off Life Support, ‘Clinging To Life’, LAPD Denies Death Reports

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Tom Petty has been taken off life support after being rushed to the hospital Sunday night after he was found unconscious and in full cardiac arrest, according to TMZ.
CBS News had been reporting that Petty had died, but Los Angeles Police denies this information and says the initial report was “inadvertently provided to some media sources.”
