Police: Trooper Hurt In Crash, 2nd Driver Charged With DUI

WEST OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — A Maryland state trooper was injured in a crash and police say the driver of the other vehicle involved is facing a drunken driving charge.
Media outlets report that the crash happened Saturday night on U.S. Route 50 in West Ocean City. Maryland State Police say a westbound Toyota RAV4 made a left turn onto Elm Street into the path of the trooper’s eastbound cruiser.
