Police: Suspect Shot, Killed While Trying To Rob Off-Duty Officer’s Home

BALTIMORE (WJZ) —A man has died after police say he tried to burglarize an off-duty Baltimore police officer’s home and was shot by the officer.
It happened in the 4400 block of Furley Avenue in northeast Baltimore this morning.
According to Captain Jarron Jackson, 911 dispatch got a call from the officer around 11:30 a.m., reporting that he had been involved in a shooting inside his home.
