Police: Couple Tried To Take Security Guard’s Gun

DEWEY BEACH, Del. (AP) — A Maryland couple is charged with trying to take a security guard’s gun during a struggle in a Delaware beach town.
Delaware State Police said in a statement that John Clancy of Towson and Julia Price of Baltimore, both 21, approached the guard in Dewey Beach early Monday and asked for a ride to Ocean City, Maryland. He told them a cab would be called, but when they walked toward a home, the guard warned they’d be arrested.
