Police: Bus Driver Was Speeding Before Route 29 Crash That Injured 5

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (WJZ)— Police say the driver of a school bus who lost control of the vehicle and tipped it on Route 29 this morning is at fault for the crash.
Authorities say 50-year-old Tyra India Wilcox was speeding when she pulled onto northbound U.S. 29 from westbound Route 100 just before 7 a.m. and flipped on the bus on its side. The bus was then hit by a car.
Wilcox has been issued a citation for negligent driving.
