Maryland Weather: Afternoon Storms Trigger Alert Day

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The WJZ First Alert Weather Team has declared Monday an Alert Day due to severe thunderstorms in the forecast.
Those storms are anticipated to bring damaging wind gusts to parts of Maryland, along with the potential for hail and possibly a tornado.
Our day got off to a warm start with temperatures in the upper 60s, and things will warm up to about 80 degrees heading into the afternoon.
