Maryland Congressional Candidate Being Treated For Cancer
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — David Trone, the co-owner of the national wine store chain Total Wine & More who is running for Congress in Maryland, said Monday he is being treated for localized cancer after a tumor was found in his urinary tract, and the next step in his treatment is to have a kidney removed.
Trone announced the tumor was confirmed June 25 — a day before Maryland’s primary, which Trone won to be the Democratic nominee in the state’s 6th Congressional District
