Lightning Strikes During National Night Out Event, In Anne Arundel County

FORT MEADE, Md. (WJZ) — Lightning strikes were reported on the Fort Meade base during the National Night Out Event when a heavy thunderstorm rolled through the area.
Six people who were a part of the setup crew for the event experienced residual effects including tinging and mild headaches, according to Fort Meade’s media relations team.
