Injured Eagle Rescued From Railroad Tracks Is Euthanized

WASHINGTON (AP) — A wildlife rescue group official says a bald eagle that was rescued from railroad tracks near the nation’s capital has since been euthanized.
Jim Monsma is the executive director of City Wildlife, a rescue that helped examine the bird. He tells news outlets that the bird had irreparable wing fractures, leaving euthanasia as the only responsible option.
