Heat Advisory Today

Baltimore (WJZ)–   A heat advisory remains in effect from 11am to 8pm today for Southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
Those counties included in the advisory are Caroline, Calvert, Cecil, Charles, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne’s, St. Marys, Somerset, Talbot, and Wicomico.
The heat index could reach up to 106 degrees in those areas. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur.
You should take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside.
