Frederick County Prepares For More Rain After Flooding

FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ/AP) — Frederick County is preparing for more rain, after already experiencing flooding and damage to roads.
Frederick County Executive Jan Gardner said Thursday she is declaring a state of emergency to get ready for more flooding and any additional damage. She says it’s an administrative step to maximize the availability of resources.
The massive amount of water in Frederick simply has nowhere to go and storm drains are overwhelmed.
