Federal Jury Convicts Accused ‘Winter Hat’ Bank Robber
BALTIMORE (AP) — A bank robbery suspect dubbed the “winter hat robber” has been convicted by a federal jury in Baltimore.
Fifty-four-year-old Harrison Lewis III of Catonsville was convicted Monday on six counts of robbery and one count of attempted robbery.
Lewis, who acted as his own attorney, if scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 20. He faces up to 20 years in prison on each count.
