DOJ Won’t Bring Charges Against Officers In Freddie Gray Case

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Department of Justice will not bring charges against the officers involved in the Freddie Gray case.
Gray died a week after his neck was broken while he was handcuffed and shackled but left unrestrained in the back of a police transport wagon in April 2015.
The DOJ first launched a probe into whether Gray’s civil rights were violated on the day of his funeral, which was followed by a visit from then Attorney General Loretta Lynch just days later.
