Deck Collapses In Howard County, Injures 8

HOWARD Co, Md. (WJZ) — Units from Howard County Fire and EMS are on the location of what they are calling a mass casualty incident, though at this time there are no life-threatening injuries, according to fire and emergency crews.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., a deck collapsed at the 4900 block Bernie Branch Road in Ellicott City.
Callers reported about 20 people were on a 20′ x 40′ deck when it collapsed twelve feet onto the ground.
