Civil-Rights Lawyer Suspended for Financial Misconduct

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — A Frederick civil-rights lawyer has been suspended indefinitely from practicing law in Maryland due to financial misconduct.The Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission announced the disciplinary action Monday against Willie Mahone.
The commission found that Mahone failed to maintain accurate attorney trust account records, coming led personal and client funds and created negative balances in multiple client accounts.
