BSO Reaches 1-Year Agreement, Will Open 2019-2020 Season This Weekend

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, its members and the Musicians’ Association announced they’ve reached a one-year agreement and will open the season this weekend.
Some of the terms include an increase of 2.4 percent in weekly scale over 38 concerts, bonus compensation to musicians of $1.6 million for 10 weeks of summer, an average pay increase to $94,000, four weeks paid vacation and the formation of a vision committee.
