Baltimore Teen Brings Culinary Skills To ‘Top Chef Junior,’ Competes in Top 5

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — There is a top chef in Baltimore, whose name you don’t know and whose restaurant you haven’t visited yet, because he’s only 13-years-old.
Owen Pereira taught WJZ’s Denise Koch a thing or two in the kitchen. Koch visited the 8th grader at the Baltimore Montessori Public Charter School and watched him prepare scallops, pea terrine, cauliflower puree and pancetta.
