Amtrak Service Affected, Train Comes Into Contact With Vehicle

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Amtrak says train service has been impacted through the Northeast Corridor after an Amtrak train came into contact with a vehicle Sunday afternoon.
Amtrak says the incident happened at 3:19 p.m. in Essex involving a Northeast Regional train with 330 passengers on board.
The Baltimore County Police Department confirms it happened when teen riding an ATV or motorcycle was injured on or near the tracks.
