All Clear Given After Acid Spill Near Curtis Bay
BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Residents near Curtis Bay have been given the all clear after previously being told to stay inside as authorities worked on a hazmat situation after an acid spill.
The hazmat situation was at the Solvay building, and no injuries have been reported at this time.
Baltimore Fire Department Chief Roman Clark says the hazmat situation started just after 10:45 a.m., when chlorosulfonic acid was being transferred from a tanker to a trailer, and the acid somehow spilled
