2 Hit By Train Were From Pennsylvania And Maryland

WASHINGTON (AP) — The victims of a train accident outside Washington’s Union Station were men from Pennsylvania and Maryland.
The two men who died were freight train conductors who got out of their train late Tuesday night to check out an alert that there was a problem with one or more of their train’s wheels. They died when they were struck by an Amtrak passenger train.
On Thursday, police in Washington identified the men in a statement as 20-year-old Stephen Deal of Meyersdal
